This is the middle one of three cottages situated in a discreet position on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, just a few steps way from the FFESTINIOG STEAM RAILWAY with the nearest station situated a few 100yds away at PENRHYNDEUDRAETH with the occasional steam train passing by being a distinct attraction. Attractively modernised, this traditional terraced stone cottage is also comfortably furnished. Its location above the main village offers elevated views of the surrounding Snowdonia mountains, Dwyryd estuary and Harlech Castle. Scenery abounds in the unsurpassed beauty of the Snowdonia National Park with superb walks from the doorstep through woodlands to hidden away lakes, down to the Dwyryd estuary and the beaches of the foreshore. Or by car (or steam train) to the lofty mountains of the Ffestiniog Valley. The village boasts a selection of good inns, a bakery and shops. The fabulous Portmeirion village and gardens are within walking distance, just two miles away for a relaxing day out. Just over the Glaslyn estuary is Porthmadog town where there are shops, cinema, leisure centre and restaurants. Excellent sandy beaches at Morfa Bychan (3ml) and
Harlech (5ml). Snowdon / Beddgelert village (5ml). This is a good central location for a holiday cottage in Snowdonia, North Wales .
