Maths and Science tuition in North Wales

Experienced private tutor, providing tuition in maths and science up to GCSE level and A-level Biology.

I graduated with a BA (Hons) Natural Sciences from Cambridge University in 2003.

My teaching experience comprises:
16 months in a field studies centre, teaching Key Stage 2 to A-level
8 months in a central London school as a Biology and Chemistry teacher (age 12-18)
2 months as a private tutor (pupils ranged from 7 to 18)

I am a sensitive and patient tutor and pride myself on my flexibility which allows me to adapt to the needs and abilities of my students. I teach with humour, interest and a desire to help pupils achieve their potential with confidence. I have taught a wide variety of subjects, in a range of environments, both individually and to full classes.

I am currently studying for a postgraduate diploma in Occupational Therapy at Bangor University. I have chosen to continue tutoring partly to finance my studies but also because I take a lot of pleasure from teaching, explaining and passing on the passion that I have for learning others.

I have had an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check, a current First Aid certificate and am able to provide references if necessary. I tutor from my own home in Bangor.
