Nina has worked with animals for most of her adult life, and in 1986 she spent a year studying wolves in captivity at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park in South Bedfordshire.

She believed that in order to understand the behaviour of dogs, we must first look to the species from whence they came, but her studies were stopped short when she suffered a brain haemorrhage in 1995 (you can view her wolf report on her website www.ninasnanniesforpets.co.uk/pet related articles). She has now made a full recovery, and she continues to help her clients, with their dog behavioural problems. She also appears regularly in the media, with regard to animal welfare issues, more recently on Anglia Television, and BBC Three Counties radio.

As a dedicated champion of animal welfare, Nina decided that she wanted to realise her dream of working with animals, and provide an alternative to boarding establishments, and in 1998 Nina's Nannies for Pets was born.

Nina's Nannies for Pets are a professional, award winning, pet and house sitting service, that is tailored to your individual requirements. Our service covers the Midlands, and the South of England and Europe.

We are NOT franchised, and have been established since 1998.

Our sitters are mainly retired people/couples, non smokers, with National Pet sitter registration and insurance. They are all fully vetted, with a police background check, excellent references and adept in administering medication and caring for pets with special needs.

We do not charge an administration fee and our sitters provide their own main meals, bed linen and towels. Each sitter is adept at administering medication and caring for pets with special needs. They will water house and patio plants, and do a light shop for your return, at no extra charge.

We are recommended by the veterinary profession, councils, rescue centres, dog trainers, and most importantly by our satisfied clients. We are extremely proud of our service and reputation and client testimonials can be found on our website www.ninasnanniesforpets.co.uk, where you can also visit our blog for an amusing insight into the world of pet sitting or Tel 08450 53 11 52 for further information.

We are always looking for mature minded live-in pet sitters to stay within our clients homes, caring for their pets and properties whilst they are away. For further information please visit our website.

We care when you're not there.
